Maple Walnut Yams
Ingredients:
- 3 large yams
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup chopped up walnuts
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 325
- Peal and cut up yams into cubes. Make them as even as possible. I cut them up before hand hand soaked them in water.
- Place on baking sheet and toss with olive oil and place in oven.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Then add butter, maple syrup, walnuts and salt bake for another 10 minutes.
