Maple Walnut Yams

Ingredients:

  • 3 large yams
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped up walnuts

Preparation:
  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Peal and cut up yams into cubes. Make them as even as possible. I cut them up before hand hand soaked them in water.
  3. Place on baking sheet and toss with olive oil and place in oven.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Then add butter, maple syrup, walnuts and salt bake for another 10 minutes.
