Tuna Bites

My son is a picky eater. He used to eat just about everything until he was 4 1/2 then he hit "the wall". Now we do "Try New Food Tuesdays" which works out great. Plus when your kids cook they are much more likely to not just taste their creations but eat them as well. Tuna is now one of my son's favorite foods.

Here is a fun and tasty way to enjoy tuna...it's a snap to prepare and always a hit at our parties. I just walk around with a plate in hand and offer to all...soon I am like a mama duck with ducklings in tow...only they are usually taller than me lol!

Enjoy!

Tuna Bites

3 fresh Tuna Fillets
olive oil
Paul Prudhommes Blackened Redfish Magic Seasoning

Sauce

3/4 cup mayo
2 TBS relish
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp Blackened Redfish Magic Seasoning

For sauce combine all ingredients in a small bowl stir until combined. Set aside.

Cut tuna into 1-inch chunks. Lightly coat on all sides with the seasoning. In a large skillet, heat 2 TBS of olive oil over medium-high heat and saute tuna for about 30 seconds to 1 minute per side (depends how well done you like your tuna).
Serve immediately with toothpicks and sauce for dipping

Enjoy,

Colleen
